Well yea, but that doesnt stop you gurus from coming up with a work around.. :)

this Fn function key is *NOT* a regular keyboard key. It's a special key of the laptop itself, so that you can operate certain Laptop-Motherboard-Special-Actions, that have nothing to do with Windows.

Regards, Rudi.

Get about 1 metre (3 ft) of paired cable. Solder the wires on one end across the Fn key contacts and the other end across the contacts on an unused button on your wireless mouse. Then all you have to do is detect when that unused mouse button is pressed. (It needs to be a wireless mouse to ensure you don't get any nasty shorts when you press the Fn key.)

See, it's easy when you've had the sort of experience I hope to have.

Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.
