It's a special key of the laptop itself, so that you can operate certain Laptop-Motherboard-Special-Actions, that have nothing to do with Windows.Regards, Rudi. Solder the wires on one end across the Fn key contacts and the other end across the contacts on an unused button on your wireless mouse. Then all you have to do is detect when that unused mouse button is pressed. (It needs to be a wireless mouse to ensure you don't get any nasty shorts when you press the Fn key.) See, it's easy when you've had the sort of experience I hope to have.
