I would like a subforum where users may request simple scripts to developers doing.

For example :

Document code : number-year

I need an independant script for asigning codes to the document I make.

When I have the cursor over a text field, a word processor like word, notepad, wordpad, field notes on many programs, a database text field, etc , I might be able to invoke the script and write the code in that document. Just where the cursor is.

The code is formed by a sequential number and the year : 000125-2008

Next time I invoke the script will be 000126-2008

Do you know an autoIt script doing this ?

The developers only take feature requests for the language itself, not the implementation. This is a free community and therefore members are willing to contribute at their own discretion. If you need help with something you may post in General Help & Support, and providing sample code will yield more favorable response.

People have better things to do than write basic scripts for somebody who can't be bothered to figure out how to write something that should take like 10 minutes.
