mtgo bot, ocr foil detection?

ok, still working on my bot, for those of you that have some experience with this, i have it about 95% accurately figuring out the cards. I use the list view and not the card view. How are you guys getting 100% accuracy with the ocr. i am using the word 2003 ocr script. Is there a way to search for the card and try to match most of the letters but not all? also how do you detect foil with that symbol, sometimes it returns and * or -- nothing the same everytime

To check for foil it should be possible to just check for white pixels after the card name.
