They do not wait to load before return. About 1 per second for 5-6 hours. Or do you think it does not effect your computer all that much. DaleHohm Posted January 1, 2009 Share Posted January 1, 2009 Process creation is expensive on Windows, so anything that does a lot of it will be a concern. As well, management of each process running on the system consumes resources (memory, pagefile, CPU for process management) and you eventually run out of these -- thus my original response. If you destroy processes as fast as you create them you to not pay a permanent price, just the overhead of creation. That said, it is always better to reuse processes (e.g. With _IENavigate) instead of repeatedly destroying and creating. None of this is unique to AutoIt or IE, but logically applies to everything you do on the system.
