iHonda Posted January 11, 2009 Share Posted January 11, 2009 well with windows you can use alt + some key to do basically anything you can do with a mouse for example in a folder if you press Alt + T it opens the tool menu.. well how can this be done in autoit? i searched the help file and have no idea what to search for in the forum so i searched for Alt Key and the results were.. well there were a lot of them and i didnt see much that could help me peace, Z...er iHonda A great place to start Autoit 1-2-3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This tells AutoIt to send an ALT keystroke, therefore Send("This is text!a") would send the keys "This is text" and then press "ALT+a".Send("!t") Cheers, FireFox. iHonda Posted January 11, 2009 Author Share Posted January 11, 2009 not what i meant.. i mean say a user oh idk broke their mouse yet they still wanna be able to press a button on my gui... traditionaly you could press Alt+F or alt+anykey to open a menu or press a key i want to know how i can make it so my script will allow a user to do this i dont need the script to press alt+f i need it to let my user use alt+f to do something to the gui and dont say hotkey or is pressed..
