Keyboard control of a GUI

well with windows you can use alt + some key to do basically anything you can do with a mouse for example in a folder if you press Alt + T it opens the tool menu.. well how can this be done in autoit? i searched the help file and have no idea what to search for in the forum so i searched for Alt Key and the results were.. well there were a lot of them and i didnt see much that could help me

not what i meant.. i mean say a user oh idk broke their mouse yet they still wanna be able to press a button on my gui... traditionaly you could press Alt+F or alt+anykey to open a menu or press a key i want to know how i can make it so my script will allow a user to do this i dont need the script to press alt+f i need it to let my user use alt+f to do something to the gui and dont say hotkey or is pressed..
