exemaker Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 I want to add my own name in the version info so when somebody right clicks and read the properties, it says my name instead of Auto-It and the version number.I have tried using Resource Hacker and XN Resource Editor but the finished exe is always corupt and doesn't run.How Can I remove the version information please. Authenticity Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 Not 100% sure but there is several directives (those in purple) that allow this kind of things or maybe just the version and icon and few other things, press CTRL+F1 while in the SciTE editor and find them under "Extra Utilities" -> "AutoIt3Wrapper" -> scroll down a little bit. A GUI will pop up and show you options you can use.The other way (might still have to download full version of SciTe) is to use AutoIt compile directives. Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
