hi guys, i am new to this, and i want to change this hex colour code to something autoit would understand

#0000DE

$HEX = "#0000DE"
$COLOR = "0x" & StringTrimLeft($HEX,1)
MsgBox(0,"",$COLOR)

or something more interactive, you can choose a color

#include <Misc.au3>
$COLOR = _ChooseColor(2,0x0000DE,2)
MsgBox(0,"Color",$COLOR)

myth146,

AutoIt would understand 0x0000DE. I assume that it is in RGB format, because if not you will have to change either the colour or AutoIt's default behaviour via an Opt statement.
