Recommended Posts

Hi,

i currently trying to make a script to install some old application in windows XP. Those application date from windows 3.1 time (yes they are very old but they are still use in some school). The problem i'm facing is that when i use Autoit Window Info the application crash. It append with various old application using a wise sollution installer (don't know if that can help).

So if anyone know how to bypass this problem, please just let me know.

Thank

Kevin

LethalPredator,

Firstly, welcome to the AutoIt forums.

I am afraid that the latest version of AutoIt (3.3.0.0) will no longer work with Win95/98, so it does not surprise me that it crashes with Win3.1! I can only imagine the differences in the Windows source code since those far-off days.

However, one of the Devs or older hands here might be able to offer a work around - do not lose all hope yet, although I say that I would not get too hopeful either!
