what would be the best way to do this?

You'd start by making sense... and actually give examples and code of what you've tried to do.

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

i havent started - i just want to see which way would be the best to do it in..

ok.. its a script to track tasks and time

each entry/row would have a name and a time start and stop and a calculated duration (and a sum of all the task durations)

id like to have a minus sign next to each row which would delete the row on the fly...

1. how should i store these entries? a temp file or and array perhaps?

2. given the ability to remove from the list on the fly what should i use to display it? guictrllistview?-if so, can the minus button work on the fly like that with guictrllistview?

thanks

Because of the versatility of the Ini* functions... I like to use those for quick/simple data processing.

No idea what you mean about a + or - key.
