Cursor visible using MouseMove

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I expect this has been asked before, but I've done a few searches and haven't found anything;

When I'm using the MouseMove function, is it possible to actually move the cursor so know where the mouse is? This would be extremely reassuring.

Thanks!!!

It's ok, I worked it out. It's because I'm running the script inside a VM. When I run it on the host OS it works fine. There's an option in Microsoft Virtual PC which toggles whether the VM uses the host cursor or not. Turning this off locks the cursor into the VM (you have to press Alt Gr to release it) but it does allow you to see the cursor being moved, which I discovered is the normal AutoIt operation.

If you have the option set to using the host OS cursor, which is more seamless, then you don't see the mouse cursor move when the script is running - which is weird.

Cheers for the reply though! I hope this helps anyone else running scripts inside VMs (using MS VPC).
