the images i wanted to match are relatively small, so i wanted to get best quality so the script can be able to match it

program i used => here

bmp? gif? jpeg? :)

any file type that photoshop can save in is fine with me

I beleive BMP have the most pixels or depth or potential for quality -- I think. It's all kind of fuzzy from back in my college years lol. Hope this helps.

To my knowledge:

BMP: Not compressed

GIF: Compressed, colors in picture also rounded

JPEG: Compressed, colors in picture also rounded.

PNG: Compressed, no colors rounded.
