Recommended Posts

Hi there! I've just been start to learn how to make own programs and a friend of mine was say that AutoIT is one of the program that is easy and can be usefull too :)

I've also started by downloading AutoIT version 3.0 from this site and installed it.

And a help file with tutorials and codes popup :)

I've read through the tutorials, understand and finnished! (expect the last tutorial ^_^ )

Now i'm wondering, what is the basics?

And any idéas about what i'm going to learn me next?

I'm a noob too. My advice would be (not in any particular order):

Follow the tutorials in the help file.

Read through the documentation and play with AutoIt.

Play with the many examples in the AutoIt installation folder.

Download the excellent tutorial here: http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...rning+to+script

Decide on a simple project and plan it out, think about what you want to do and then experiment.

Ask noob questions here, just like I do :)

Good luck!

Ok, already done those tutorials, so now i go read about the other controls and functions etc :)

My first suggestion is to learn to search.

Cheers,

Brett

Thanks! ^_^

Any recommended link to a guide/tutorial that can learn me search then?

Maybee you should have help me with a link like this:

http://letmegooglethatforyou.com/?q=How+to+search+at+google

:huh2:

Well, i know that to learn i need to search and so on, i've heard it alot on forums when peoples is asking for stuffs.

But i mean, then if all answear was "search" then this forum would be useless?

WootEva!

If someone have any recommanded tutorials (i prefer video or sound) would be great :bike:

(i learn me good by just listening :) , Anyway in school :lmao: )

ProGrammar,

There are good tutorials here and here.

You have the right idea - learn about the language before getting too ambitious. So many of the posts here could be answered by a good read of the Help file.

If you make an effort to produce some code yourself, you will find that the forum members are very helpful. Just do not expect them to do all the work for you!
