Hi,

Perhaps this has been asked before, I just want to know how to get string before/after given string for example :

$string = '='
 $text = 'text = autoit'

Return value would be ' autoit' or 'text '

Perhaps I can do it with StringRegExp or something like this :)

Cheers, FireFox.

FireFox,

Try this:

$string = ' = '
$text = 'text = autoit'

$newtext = StringMid($text, StringInStr($text, " = ") + StringLen($string))

ConsoleWrite($newtext & @CRLF)

I think the easiest way is like this

$string = '='
$text = 'text = autoit'
$ans = stringright($text,stringlen($text) - stringlen($string) - StringInStr($text,$string) + 1)
ConsoleWrite($ans & @CRLF)

$ConstR = "Before = after"
$delim = " = "
$sl = StringLeft($ConstR, StringInStr($ConstR, $delim) - 1)
$sr = StringMid($ConstR, StringInStr($ConstR, $delim) + StringLen($delim))
