How bout you search.

Try these terms:

File Search

Recursive File Search (find the topic by WeaponX)

Then look in the helpfile for FileSetAttrib. Note that recursion is possible with this function.

Cheers,

Brett

Yes I manage to hide my files and my folders, but in your explorer, when you go to "tools" => "Folder Options" => "view", you can select if you want display your files and your folders or not.

and it's this option I want change.

Well you're doing the classic post, then change because you didn't explain yourself the first time!

Try searching google?

I hope you can figure out what to do there. Here's a big hint- RegWrite.

But if I were you I wouldn't delve into the registry just yet...

Cheers,

Brett

I want hide my files and my folders.

Manually you go in your explorer, then "tools" => "Folder Options" => "view", you can select if you want display your files and your folders or not.

We can also change this propertie in the registry

But the disadvantage for the two manipulations is the computer must restart to apply change. And me I want do this operation dynamically from a dll.

In fact it's a function to reload/refresh the explorer !

So we can use this function for any for any amendment to the register! (it's perfect !)

But before to open a new topic, i have search but in my opinion (not the right word...)
