Background Commands To A Browser

Recommended Posts

I attempted to use search but due to my inability to describe what I am looking for my results were too broad...

Anyway, my question is simple and I'm sure its been asked before =/ Unfortunately.

What method is there of sending commands such as..

ShellExecuteWait("http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/")

..to a browser without the browser taking focus? Do I have to reassign the active window after such a command or is there a better way of doing it?

Also is ShellExecute the best command to use for sending web addresses and link locations?

ShellExecute always opens in the default browser I assume.. that could be messy, is there anyway to dictate which browser it uses?

Just to be safe I read all of the FAQ before posting this. Still no cigar, arg.
