FlamekidX
so theres this program called WMC.exe that I use to play warcraft in a window and the person who made it said they used autoit. the one really cool thing about this program is the tray menu. in the tray menu, theres one item where its like a text box except it takes in a key and also remembers the key next time you start up the exe without any .ini or external file (i think) and theres also an item that allows you to specify a window. I'm pretty new with traymenus but i just want some pointers on how to do this. anyone know? if you guys wanna see the program to better understand what im talking about just google WMC (windows mouse capture) on his site. i think its veetee software or something like that. James
Firstly, it's probably a custom GUI being used like a tray menu. Secondly, the "key" has to be stored somewhere; if not in an INI then in the registry.
