TheBobynator,

This might be helpful:

$sOld_String = "Cat Dog Mouse Horse Rabbit"

$aArray = StringSplit($sOld_String, " ")

$sNew_String = ""
For $i = 1 To $aArray[0]
    If $aArray[$i] = "Dog" Then
        $sNew_String &= "Dog"
    Else
        $sNew_String &= " "
    EndIf
Next

ConsoleWrite($sOld_String & @CRLF & $sNew_String & @CRLF)

You just replace "Dog" with what you want to keep. If you want to keep more than one thing, add more Ifs within the For...Next loop.

$sString="Cat Dog Mouse Hourse Rabbit"
$sString=StringRegExpReplace($sString,'(?i).*?(Dog).*','$1')

Oops! I didn't see the space between quotes. Hmm.. lemme rethink that

Aha, I think I got it! This will put spaces for each word *other* than dog, but the only thing is there'll be one extra space at the end which can be stripped. If you can live without having words replaced with a space, then the previous post will do.

$sString="Cat Dog Mouse Hourse Rabbit"
$sString=StringTrimRight(StringRegExpReplace($sString,'(?i)((Dog)|\h*\w+\h*)','$2 '),1)
