Wonderbread
I've got the script to count (It's just a simple $count += 1 kinda thing) Problem is, I'm looking incorporate it into my GUI as a label which updates itself each time $count gets +1 added to it pseudo code: While $blah > $blah2 mouseclick("left") $count += 1 WEnd label($count) Label will then be, somehow, constantly updating or even updating every 10 seconds. Moderators Melba23 Posted March 6, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 6, 2009 Wonderbread,If you want to display the count in your GUI, you will have to create a label to show it, using GUICtrlCreateLabel. You then update the label with the current value of $count by using GUICtrlSetData. If you have problems in understanding this, may I suggest reading the Help file (at least the first few sections - Using AutoIt, Tutorials and the first couple of References) as this will help you grasp the basics of AutoIt coding. You might also look at the excellent tutorials that you will find here and here.M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
James
You know how to increment a number in AutoIt? And you know how to create a label on a GUI? Then all you need to do is use GuiCtrlSetData and set the label on the GUI to it.Dim $count = 0 GuiCreate("Increment label", 550, 400) $lblData = GuICtrlCreateLabel("", 10, 10) GuiSetState(@SW_SHOW) _Count() While 1 $iMsg = GuiGetMsg() Switch $iMsg Case -3 Exit EndSwitch WEnd Func _Count() For $i = $count To 100 GuiCtrlSetData($lblData, $i) Sleep(1000) Next EndFunc Blog - Seriously epic web hosting - Twitter - GitHub - Cachet HQ
