Access database encryption.

Recommended Posts

Hi friends,

The following code encrypts an Access Db:

_EncryptDB($Source,$Dest)

If FileExists($Source) Then

$adoProvider="Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0"

If FileExists($Dest) Then FileDelete($Dest)

$obj = ObjCreate("JRO.JetEngine")

If IsObj($obj) Then

$obj.CompactDatabase("Provider = " & $adoProvider & ";"&"Data Source = " & $Source,"Provider = " & $adoProvider &";"& "Data Source = " & $Dest&";"& "Jet OLEDB:Encrypt Database=True")

EndIf

EndIf

EndFunc ;<===>_EncryptDB()
