pr1
Hi, I have written an au3 program to automate Lotus Notes (it creates a session, connects to a database, checks for emails coming from a particular sender, detaches the attachments, and quits). Now, I would like to translate it to C++, using only the win32 API for learning purposes. Can anyone have have any sample win32 COM C++ code to get me started? Many thanks. pr1
DaleHohm
This is probably stating the obvious, but MSDN is full of it... Free Internet Tools: DebugBar, AutoIt IE Builder, HTTP UDF, MODIV2, IE Developer Toolbar, IEDocMon, Fiddler, HTML Validator, WGet, curl MSDN docs: InternetExplorer Object, Document Object, Overviews and Tutorials, DHTML Objects, DHTML Events, WinHttpRequest, XmlHttpRequest, Cross-Frame Scripting, Office object model Automate input type=file (Related) Alternative to _IECreateEmbedded? better: _IECreatePseudoEmbedded Better Better? IE.au3 issues with Vista - Workarounds SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead? Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble

DaleHohm
Look for Overviews and Tutorials rather than reference sections (e.g. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa...44(VS.85).aspx). Most all examples are presented in C++ and VB.Dale Free Internet Tools: DebugBar, AutoIt IE Builder, HTTP UDF, MODIV2, IE Developer Toolbar, IEDocMon, Fiddler, HTML Validator, WGet, curl MSDN docs: InternetExplorer Object, Document Object, Overviews and Tutorials, DHTML Objects, DHTML Events, WinHttpRequest, XmlHttpRequest, Cross-Frame Scripting, Office object model Automate input type=file (Related) Alternative to _IECreateEmbedded? better: _IECreatePseudoEmbedded Better Better? Valik
I don't recommend trying to learn COM unless you really have a need to. It's not exactly the easiest thing to learn.
