rewclaus Posted March 24, 2009 Share Posted March 24, 2009 Hello - I am working on a program and have hit a snag with OCR. I am attempting to screen capture something and then run it through OCR. When I capture the entire screen, I can usually get the OCR to recognize a few things. But when I capture just a certain portion of the screen I get the error: "The requested action with this object has failed." Does this happen because the OCR just cannot recognize any text? "The requested action with this object has failed." error happens when an object doesn't have that method which you are using, or when a method requires different parameters.
