PC Sends SMS to Cellphone - anyone here with a good mathematical thinking?

Recommended Posts

Hello

I am creating this:

Whenever a certain critial event occurs on my PC, my PC will Send an SMS, to my cellphone.

I can do this via the internet, since my Cellular company gives me 20 Free SMSes everyday, using their website.

So far all is cool,

I automated the part that watches over my PC, and also most of the SMS Send page,

and now I am left with the last part: The Captcha.

The captcha shows a 6 character string,

and it appears that its filename is made of that string+some calculation.

For example:

For the string "x7x4fs", the filename of that Captcha Image is: "d647v0J04C8.jpg".

For the string "98n6pc", the filename of that Captcha Image is: "mThWK9JyjK4.jpg".

So it appears that I can Get the string in the Captcha Image, If I know what Calculation is done from the FileName of that Captcha.

Anyone has here has an Idea what calculation they used?

You probably have little to no chance of doing this. The whole point of CAPTCHA is to stop automation. The whole thing is probably server side anyway. What you would have to do is get a really damn good image reading program if you can even find it. They are the reason why captchas are getting more complicated or hire a slave laborer to do them for you.

Your better of finding some other way to send like Aol Instant Messenger.
