Zohar
I don't think so.. and what wrong with sending message? =]Actually nothing's wrong with sending a message,The reason I wanted to find more ways to do it, is because this problem recurs in many applications that don't use controls and use some graphics rendering instead.Several Examples:1) in JetAudio, when playing a video, I wanted to know the Time Passed and Time Left for the movie. And couldn't find how to do it.2) in "MagicTune", an application for changing Samsung screens Settings, the window is again a window with no controls, that uses some graphics rendering for its GUI.There too I cannot know the status of several things.I can control it(using MouseClicks in constant locations), but I cannot get any feedback from it.. :/In this particular winamp example, I will probably do it via the automation library with the SendMessage(thanks alot for writing it!),But generally, I hope the recurring problem I describe, will not be left unsolved. There is no one method to check what you need for all possible players out there, they uses other methods to play files, each player having they own method.P.SBtw, you can manage Aimp Player with the library from winamp, and it's only because Aimp supports the same remote controller as Winamp do.
