Raphael
hello everybody ! i have a program running on my pc which needs to run the whole time the computer is switched on. it starts automatically via "autostart" after booting, but unfortunately its very unstable and it shuts down randomly sometimes. so i need to start it manually... :/ is there a way for autoit to check for existing windownames (running programs) and if they exist to idle until the window disappears (the program shuts down) ? and if the window name (program) has not been found by autoit, what phrase should i use to make autoit open my program again (a specific path) ? thx for your help ! raphael

martin
To wait for progA.exe to close before running another then something like While ProcessExists("progA.exe") sleep(1000) wend Run("c:\myspecialpogs\myprog1.exe");assuming it's compiled Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.
