track hibernation and stand by

Hey all. I want to track uptime, which is easy, but i also need to figure out if hibernation or stand by occurs inside of that uptime, which seems a bit tougher. i want to do this without creating an event query or sink or service...just in case it wasnt impossible enough. I would settle for a hack that simply allowed me to occur if stand by or hibernation occurred. i have the uptime code worked out fine.

Any ideas?
