All I need is to get some "light" number, that depends on the light from the cam. For example - if its a day, the number will be 70 of 100. If its night, the number will be 10 of 100. Try the same thing in what you want to consider as dark and what you want to consider as light and take the average. Then anything above that value is light and anything below is dark.
