michcio Posted May 16, 2009 Share Posted May 16, 2009 hi! I want to use the _INetSmtpMail function in my script but can't get it right with the SMTP server.. I have created a gmail account and i think I should enter : smtp.gmail.com as the first argument...but while using it I always get error : 50 i.e. Cannot open SMTP session...what am I doing wrong and how do I "set up" the STMP? thankfull for answers michcio Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's free.yes that's what I'm doing and it works just fine except the $FromAddress argument...whatever I choose there the mail always seems to come from $Username...and still why doesn't the "normal" _INetSmtpMail function work properly? cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
