GaryB
I am trying to change a setting after using Autoit to automatically install a program. The problem is that during the install there are three windows that pop up for user input and all three have the same name "xxx VPN". I am using WinWait ("xxx VPN") to determine when the window is open. The problem is that it runs when the first wndow opens. Is there a way to loop and wait for the third window? I can't use the sleep command since I don't know how long it will take for the user to click on the button to proceed to the next window. Thanks for any help! water
If there is unique text on the third window you can use winwait("xxx VPN","unique text") My UDFs and Tutorials: Spoiler UDFs:Active Directory (NEW 2022-02-19 - Version 1.6.1.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiExcelChart (2017-07-21 - Version 0.4.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Example ScriptsOutlookEX (2021-11-16 - Version 1.7.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiOutlookEX_GUI (2021-04-13 - Version 1.4.0.0) - DownloadOutlook Tools (2019-07-22 - Version 0.6.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - WikiPowerPoint (2021-08-31 - Version 1.5.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiTask Scheduler (NEW 2022-07-28 - Version 1.6.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki Standard UDFs:Excel - Example Scripts - WikiWord - Wiki Tutorials:ADO - WikiWebDriver - Wiki

water
Please use the Autoit Window Info tool. Klick on your 3rd window and in the "Visible Text" Tab of the Window Info Tool you can find the text Autoit "sees" and can search for. FreeFry
You could probably use the advanced window matching mode(4) with the class name of the window, unless the other windows have the same class.
