StevieK
Hi Folks, I started automising a few weeks ago and after testing several products I found AutoIT and it seems to fit best to my requirements. My first script works pretty good, but now I want to insert the current system date in a FireFox-Formular. I'm using the FF.au3-script to control Firefox (many thanks to Thorsten Willert), but I don't find anything in the AutoIT-Documentation to read out and format the system date. Can anyone please give me a hint... Thanks a lot and the next question will follow Stefan
Moderators Melba23 Posted May 18, 2009 Moderators Share Posted May 18, 2009 StevieK,First, welcome to the AutoIt forums. Are you sure that you could find nothing in the Help file about dates? If I search for "date" I get 136 hits. :-)Try looking for the _Now() function. Or the _Date_Time_GetSystemTime() & _Date_Time_SystemTimeToDateStr() functions.M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
weaponx
No need to include date.au3, just use @MON, @MDAY, @YEARhttp://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/macros.htm
