I want to open this file, it is an outlook file and then add details to it and send it. I am using the following code to open it but it is not working $path="C:\Winnt\trans.oft" $var=FileOpen ($path & "Trans.oft", 1 ) Sleep(6000) msgbox(1, "res",$var) Any help is appreciated. Besides, with that code you posted you have also ignored what the help file says about FileClose(). A little more time in the help file now will make things a lot easier for you in the future.
