"Yes" or "No" Only ComboBox

Recommended Posts

What is the best way to to set a ComboBox to be "Yes" or "No" Only?

This is how I am doing it now.

#include-once
#include <WinAPI.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

$Form = GUICreate("Combo Yes or No",200,42)
$ComboBox1 = GUICtrlCreateCombo("",80,10,50,20)
GUISetState()

GUIRegisterMsg($WM_COMMAND, "WM_COMMAND")

While 1
    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
    EndSwitch
WEnd

Func SetComboAsYesorNo($CmbCtrlId)
    $Read_Cmb = GUICtrlRead($CmbCtrlId)
    If $Read_Cmb = "Yes" Or  $Read_Cmb = "No" Then
        Return 0
    Else
    GUICtrlSetData($CmbCtrlId, "")
    GUICtrlSetData($CmbCtrlId, "Yes|No")
    EndIf
EndFunc  ;==>SetComboAsYesorNo

Func WM_COMMAND($hWnd, $iMsg, $iwParam, $ilParam)
    Switch _WinAPI_LoWord ($iwParam)
        Case $ComboBox1
            SetComboAsYesorNo($ComboBox1)
    EndSwitch
    Return $GUI_RUNDEFMSG
EndFunc  ;==>WM_COMMAND

KenNichols,

If you mean a Combo Box in which the user cannot enter another value, try this:

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <ComboConstants.au3>

GUICreate("Yes/No combo", 200,42)

GUICtrlCreateCombo("", 80, 10, 50, 20, $CBS_DROPDOWNLIST)
GUICtrlSetData(-1, "Yes|No", "Yes")

GUISetState()

While 1
    $msg = GUIGetMsg()
    If $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Then ExitLoop
WEnd
