How can I select an item of the menu bar of an application (MPLAB IDE Programmer) with AutoIt v3?

Thanks

Welcome to the AutoIt forums martimario :D

The easiest way is to get an AutoIt script to simulate the keypresses you would make yourself. Look up Send in the help. To start the sequence you could use a key combination so look up HotKeySet as well.

Try something with those and if you get stuck post what you have tried with an explanation. Good luck!

Also look at WinMenuSelectItem

This is the syntax of WinMenuSelectItem command: WinMenuSelectItem ( "title", "text", "item" [, "item" [, "item" [, "item" [, "item" [, "item" [, "item"]]]]]] )

How can I define de title of the window of my application?

Thanks

Mario

I don't have that app but according to their screenshots the title is MPLAB IDE and the version number so it should be something like.

WinMenuSelectItem("MPLAB IDE", "", "&File","&Open")

Question about decompiling code? Read the decompiling FAQ and don't bother posting the question in the forums.
