E1M1
Sorry for bad english. When you run that code and then minimize "AutoIt Help",it will move to left lower corner of screen, but how I can make taskbar for child windows? I think I am going to generate buttons for each child window but how I can auto hide random window on minimize click? This is needed to make taskbar for child windows, then it should work like windows taskbar; You minimize window, window hides itself, when you click on taskbar button, you window will unhide. #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> #include <Constants.au3> #Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form= $Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 633, 447, 193, 125,BitOR($WS_CLIPCHILDREN,$WS_CLIPSIBLINGS,$WS_MAXIMIZEBOX,$WS_MINIMIZEBOX)) #Include <WinAPI.au3> _WinAPI_SetWindowLong(WinGetHandle("AutoIt Help"), $GWL_HWNDPARENT, $Form1) _WinAPI_SetWindowLong(WinGetHandle("AutoIt Help"), $GWL_STYLE, BitOR($WS_CLIPCHILDREN,$WS_CHILD,$WS_VISIBLE,$WS_MINIMIZEBOX,$WS_SIZEBOX )) ;~ _WinAPI_SetWindowLong(WinGetHandle("AutoIt Help"), $GWL_EXSTYLE,$WS_EX_MDICHILD) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) #EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ### While 1 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $nMsg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit EndSwitch WEnd Edited June 21, 2009 by E1M1 edited

E1M1
What you mean by make taskbar?Maybe I spelled taskbar wrong, but picture show to you what I meant with "taskbar".If I used wrong word to describe that thing then correct me please. What you mean by make taskbar?I previously hoped to find style that don't allow childwindow go away from it's parent, but now I've seen that there is no such style. And what exactly you are trying to do?I am trying to write minimalistic desktop environment, that has it's own taskbar . Taskbar should used for displaying child windows of my desktop window. It should look like picture I made.Just simple environment to manage some windows. edited

Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script. E1M1
But how I can minimize child windows to status bar? If I minimize child, it just moves to lower left corner (OUT of parent window), and changes it's size to 75x15 pixels but there is no real minimizing.I think you can do what you want with a status bar. See the help for a _GUICtrlStatusBar_SetIcon example. It's nice example, but now I have another question :SHow I Get window's Icon?
