That's why I even post these Win 7 links, in an attempt to give you people a bit of a heads up. I think that you may get forced to dot NET sooner than you had hoped for though and that's a bugger. Administrators Jon Posted June 24, 2009 Administrators Share Posted June 24, 2009 Here's how I've got my libraries set up (attached).I've got it showing the default My Documents and also C:\LiveMesh\Docs-Work and C:\LiveMesh\Docs-Home.My Documents -> I don't actively use it, enough programs when installed create their own bullshit structure in there that I've given up trying to keep it neat. Now it's a dumping ground for those programs.Docs-Work -> Work related documentsDocs-Home -> Pr0nI have the same setup on both my work laptop and home desktop. Then I've setup LiveMesh so that Docs-Home and Docs-Work synchronize. It's great, I edit a document in Docs-Work on my laptop and 10 seconds later it's replicated to Docs-Work on my desktop. If the "other" machine isn't on it syncs to the cloud until the machine comes online. Edit: I also synchronize Favorites between machines, that's cool too. No more getting annoyed that the "must have" favorite is missing on the machines I use. Then I set the junction to hidden + system and it vanishes from sight (I keep SuperHidden files hidden by default since I wrote a shell extension to show them on-demand).I have to say, Jon's practical example makes sense where-as that article didn't really give a good impression of the feature.
