Note that ALIBI Controller is not meant for screen sharing, use VNC or RDP For this.

The applications consists of a server and a client, the client must be installed on the controlling computer, and the server must be installed on the computer thats being controlled.

there are two Hotkeys available to use on the server-side:
Ctrl+Shift+Win+Alt+A - Shows if server are running, and if it is connected
Ctrl+Shift+Win+Alt+E - Terminates server

Both server and client are packed in an installer

Please make requests for more functons, I will add them as fast as I can

A BIG thanks to Kip's TCP UDF

About the hotkeys, Yes that was a typo.

@JaySquared

I keep it closed source for now, I might release it later on.

Hi colafrysen

You may get a better response if you you move your program to a server that doesn't need to be subscribed to.

I find it much simpler to attach the file to the message here.

Hi Storme, I am very sorry for the inconvenience, The need for registration was an error from my side. It is now fixed and you should be able to download the file without registration.

The reason for not attaching the file directly to here is that i got no more attachment space.

As said earlier I keep it closed source for now, but I might release it later on.

This is also the reason for not putting the script in the example programs part of this site.

I have to say that I am also a bit careful while opening exe files, but I assure you that this program is virus free (the only possibility of misuse that I can think of is if someone has access to your network, thus being allowed to connect to your PC)

Glad you liked it anyway. >_<

How did the Ping turn out?

Also what OS do you run, you'll have to disable any firewall warnings that appears (If you are using Vista then make sure that server actually was installed and is running, this is done by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Win+Shift+A)

2. they are both running windows vista, except that the normal one is using vista home premium and the other one vista home basic

3. i have disabled the firewall on the server, do i have to disable it on this machine too?

3. the ping works with 1-3ms

Ok? But I did not tell you to use ctrl alt del, I said "Ctrl+Alt+Win+Shift+A"

2. they are both running windows vista, except that the normal one is using vista home premium and the other one vista home basic

I've had problems with Vista before, but that was with pinging (Windows firewall blocked it (The ping request)), something that seemed to work for you

3. i have disabled the firewall on the server, do i have to disable it on this machine too?

I think that this is unnecessary, but if you got problems, then give it a try .

3. the ping works with 1-3ms

Well no error at least.

Other that this I can only think of one possible solution, check if you can connect at all using Hyperterminal (If that is still availiable on Vista) or Putty, with the local IP and port 65335.

Well, You'll need to port-forward if you are on different LANs.

btw this is how it looks like

Ok, the only reason I can think of is that the server is not running on the remote computer, if a balloon pops up from the taskbar when pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Win+A this means that the server is running, And as you find computers while clicking on Scan Network, I Assume that you are on the same LAN, thus not needing port-forwarding. Could I give you perssonal help via MSN or skype? This would be more convenient, as I think that this thread would be quite spammed otherwise.

You can also reach me Here

Send me a PM if this is OK >_<
