Activating a window without using WinActivate()?

How can I activate their own (created by using GUICreate()) window. WinActivate() is slow and does not always work. I try the following:

• _WinAPI_SetActiveWindow(), _WinAPI_SetForegroundWindow() - works, but not always
• _WinAPI_AllowSetForegroundWindow() - the same as previous
• _WinAPI_SwitchToThisWindow() - similar, in addition, this function is deprecated

Any other ideas.

What do you mean by doesn't always work?

I just tried this a couple of times and it always works..

I modified your script and I get "Error" when the screensaver is activated.

Just add Opt("WinWaitDelay", 0) to your script and it should be good to go.

WinActivate() will activate the window, but not always puts it on top and as a consequence of it blinking in the taskbar. Edited June 25, 2009 by Yashied
