kerlj001
Hi I am new to Autoit. I need a script to check every 10 minutes, whether a save button has been pressed. The program may sometimes be minimised/not the active window. In an ideal world id love to be able to force the app to stay on top until a save button has been pressed. Any ideas guys? Ive looked through the forum but it is not too clear for me as yet :-p Cheers Jody
Juvigy
You will have to post more details , but first you can check the help file for the window management functions like "WinActivate()"
Lars
Check if the save button get's 'grayed-out' after pressing it until next change of document. If so you're lucky and you can test on the save button state.
GodlessSinner
Im not very understood your question. You need autoit script, that can check for the button from another program is clicked? If yes - I see two ways to solve this:- make a script, that will periodically gets MouseCoords and check mouse pressing at specific coordinations(coordinations of needed button)- Find the config-file, in which your program saves settings, and make a script, that will periodically check modified data, size, etc., This way more simple..What are you need, you decide.. _____________________________________________________________________________
