How to set controlpanel options?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have to prepare script to set the following control panel option.

1. Power options -High performance-> Turn off display ->never

2. Screen saver is none

3. Theme is enable transparancy

4. Defender is set to off

5. UAC off.

I prepared script using mouse click and postion and this script is not working in Win7OS.

Any body help me how to make autoit script work on all the platforms?

thanks,

Chaitanya

Maybe you can use rundll32 like in WinXP.

Most of what the OP listed are just registry settings, but the requirement to make it for all OS types is a little bit harder. And then there are computers that have custom power settings that might not obey group policy settings like they should.
