Hi,

I write autoit script that works well while my XP is logged in,

I use the WinActivate command to run a script on application window.

Can the Autoit works while the machine is locked?

Does the WinActivate command works while the machine is locked?

Thanks in advanced,

Tomer.

The short answer is "no"

The long answer is "maybe, but not likely"

We call the Ctrl-Alt-Del screen the "Iron Curtian" for a good reason.

Depending on what you're trying to accomplish, you may be able to do what you want with different AutoIt functions like WinExists and ControlSend, ControlClick, etc. Use the Window Spy to identify the "ClassName" of different controls and use the ControlX functions to interact with them without the window even needing to be visible.
