| #1034 | Rejected | SetLocale()? | ||
| Description |
Sorry if this isn't possible and it's wasting your time to read this. Is it possible to implement a SetLocale() function that sets the locale for the ascii/ansi part of the script different from the system default? On a chinese computer doing chr(0x86) will return a ? instead of a †. I'm looking for a way to get around that. |

| #1035 | Rejected | Different SendModes | ||
| Description |
Since there is more than one keyboard out there, having more than one send mode would be useful. As far as I can tell, autoit has only one send mode, which sometimes doesn't work in some applications, mainly the most notable is in games. Also having different send modes would over come the limitation of sending stuff on different keyboard layouts. I am currently typing this is Dvorak layout, but not with the built in windows language setting's Dvorak, but a program coded in autohotkey, and when in conjunction trying to send say an "o", autoit would go to the "o" button on my keyboard and send that, which in return sends an "r". Autohotkey has sendmode input, which overcomes this limitation, it would be nice to see autoit processing it also. Thanks for reading. |
