#1268 No Bug AutoIt3 and _ExcelBookClose($oExcel) Gary rvdkonijnenburg@…
Description

When closing an Excel workbook with the _ExcelBookClose function, the workbook stays open in the background when the AutoIt3 script is still running. You can only solve this by Ctrl-Alt-Del and closing EXCEL.EXE. Downside during script operation is that the Excel file cannot be opened. Tested on .xls files.

Try opening the file during the last sleep function, it will not work, only when AutoIt3 is terminated:

#include <Excel.au3>

Local $oExcel = _ExcelBookOpen(test.xls", 1)
Sleep(5000)
_ExcelBookClose($oExcel,0,0)
Sleep(10000)
