- Ok, I understand what you meant now. I'm not familiar with English meanings, but a google search came up with the same meaning as I understand "Loose" here in Canada. Loose = to have a loose tooth Lose = to lose the tooth. (It falls out) And as far as I know American English's meaning is the same.
