All,

I wanted to know if there was a way to use AutoIT to create a Secure FTP scheduled job to download files.
Perhaps there is an object available with Windows XP or free command line program that people use.
I would like the ability to remove the files after get.

I was looking at a program called, AbleFTP. Does anyone have experience with this program?

Thanks.
Doug

Also if anyone converts massive amounts of documents from HTML to PDF, use Acrobat Standard to create the PDF from HTML. Then check for "Download Status" and "There Were Errors" dialogs and close them. Then save. I tried to script every kind of HTML converter, printer, and program, and they all just made me mad to deal with the problems with the resulting PDF files.

Have you tried pdfFactory? I'm pretty satified with the product.

Well I made a http function in autoitscript but because autoit is not super fast that script is not that fast also.
So i looked for a commandline tool.
I found Wget simple (but verry versatile) http and ftp file download tool.
Great for commandline and scripting.
I haven't tried it yet with secure ftp.
But it works fine with secure http.
Be shure to get wget and the SSL package (wich is needed for the secure part) (097g SSL Libraries)
Get it here
http://xoomer.alice.it/hherold/
its simple to use can also save to file but also to console output (wich I used it to read parts from http headers and html code)

WinSCP is great freeware SFTP app that supports commandline:

http://winscp.net/eng/docs/commandline

I figure that would do you right for uploading files via AutoIt!
