( this becouse naturally when i'll go to paste in other application, the image.jpg file is less heavy of a image.bmp file! ) I belevie that it is impossible becouse is not way to handle a jpg format file. is true? If I mistake, can show me how do that? Which kind of parameter is possible to use for image? Thanks very much for your replay. I'm very glad to you. But i'm not asking this. My be is my bad english, i'm sorry! I try to explane: I have a file "photo.jpg" in my script dir. (is not a bmp file is a jpg file) So i guess open a file (it's ok in your example with paint) I would place simple into clipboard. Thats all!! Then i close the script, i will go in othere application (database FilemakerPro, and then I'll paste with a simple CTRL+v is possibile to do that? thanks

Great..thanks for help. But i asked if someone can tell me wich is the variable where is put the "snapshot" in the script that i reported before. This for an eventual change code and add code that put the snapshot in clipboard before save on disk. I readed th help file that you suggest me..but there is not help for transfer an IMAGE in the clipboard. All sample (and i tried and work fine) is with text and not with IMAGE. I tried thhis code: _ClipBoard_Open(0) _ClipBoard_SetData($snapfile,2); or how is writer in HELP _ClipBoard_SetData($snapfile,$CF_BITMAP) _ClipBoard_Close() I used also ClipPut() and _ClipPutFile() but when I'll go to make a simple "paste" with CTRLv in other application the result is the text of path. I used also ClipPut() and _ClipPutFile(), but with the same result. As I said before i do not study the manual at all, I'm started right 2 day ago and i Find the AutoIT can resolve my problem for my application; I create a DB with FilemakerPro, and i need simple to get a Foto by webcam and put in a field. Well, if is true how can put into a clipboard? How can write add code to put the grab image into clipboard, so i can make simply ctrl+v in other application? First i nedd to add some code for put the grab image in clipboard then i need to focus on the application that i use for istance filemaker plus then i need to point in a field container then i nedd to CTR+v for paste the image in field I think that the method up is right, but i don't know the code to add at script following down. thank at every body that can help me.
