Hi Chimp, I tried to use your script for telnet console as you posted and had some trouble as "dbs179" had and posted here: Had trouble when running telnet, so tried working with cmd first. I was able to get the stdout when first running cmd, but after trying to send some text, couldn't receive any more output and can't know if the stdinwrite worked. Any suggestions?

Hi all, I'm in a middle of a large project and trying for a long time to read the output of a telnet server (old unix server). I'm connecting to the telnet via cmd interface using the command " telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ". I'm able to send commands to the window using "Send" command, but couldn't read the output the server gives me for each command I send. The problem is that I have to know what the server returned in a reply to my command, in order to know what to do next. Tried to use the "StdoutRead" function but it doesn't work well with telnet cmd window (worked fine with a regular cmd window). If something is not understood please ask and if not in the correct forum please let me know. Would much appreciate your help.
