layer Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Not sure if this would be a Windows bug, or an AutoIt bug... When running an AutoIt v. 3.1.0 script, and going to the Windows Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and exiting the script from there, leaves the AutoIt tray icon in the taskbar... And to get rid of the icon, you have to put your mouse over the icon, then it goes away... Any script does it, I even tried a compiled script, same thing... So, bug, or? FootbaG
TuMbLeWeEd Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 This is normal i think, noticed this with manny progs. It's deu to the forced closing of the prog. Have win XP and win2000 pc, both are having this behavior eg: when an app crashed or somthing, some progs dont like forced closing i think My AutoIt stuffChatBichProjectSelectorWindow control grabberUsefull LinksPort forwarding with routers
Wb-FreeKill Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 (edited) It's a Windows bug, all programs do it.. Edited April 2, 2005 by Wb-FreeKill

layer Posted April 2, 2005 Author Posted April 2, 2005 @CyberSlug, I was just thinking of that! Because I remeber it, and now that I remeber, I think, I haven't clicked the link yet, he said something about "dead icons"... Maybe, I guess now it's just my mind is refreshed after being down at the fire house... Thanks guys FootbaG
