Syntax Highlighting with autoit.

Is there a control in autoit that will allow syntax highlighting? 

If not is there maybe a DLL or plugin that will allow such a control to be embedded?

Do you mean you want information on syntax highlighting an AutoIt script? One of the developers wrote a highlighting profile in Scite to show the syntax highlighting. In Scite, look under au3.properties

In what context do you want syntax highlighting? What language should it work for? Where do you want it to appear?
