Win xp Picture viewer remake

I use win 7, and the thing that rives me crazy is the picture viewer. I want to make one similar to that of XP, useing GDI+.

Has anyone made one? Are there any peices you could send me that might be helpful? Thanks.

I will update with anything I find.
