Make function to slow down process?

Is it possible to make an autoit function that will slow down given process? If so how?

What I want to do:

func slow()
;slows down firefox(for those of you that have cheat engine, like enabling the speedhack and setting to below 1)
endfunc

hotkeyset("!z","slow")
