Problem with Run

how can i run other data types like .msd(have the programm for this type)? And is this write: Run("prob.msd", "C:\Benutzer\...\bot\")

You can use run with the program name and the msd file as a command line argument. If you're sure that the program accept it as an input file then it should be:

Run(@ComSpec & ' /c MSDiagnostics.exe "C:\Path 1\file 1.msd"')

Another alternative is to use ShellExecute as this function is looking for the program that open this file, i.e. the associated program with this file extension and open this program with the optional supplied second parameter as the program's input file.

ShellExecute("MSDiagnostics.exe", "C:\Path 1\file 1.msd")

You'll probably need to replace "MSDiagnostics.exe" with the correct program name and maybe the path also.

Try ShellExecute() instead of Run as long as the file type (.msd) is associated to an app.

ShellExecute("prob.msd")
